THE CALL The call is to all of us to show the love of Christ in all ways. The ministry is centered in the Orlando area and provides teaching, training, and support for churches and individuals to minister to those behind bars and those returning to society. With over 7 million people behind bars in the United States, the ministry is concentrating on obeying the Lord and will be ministering in the Orlando area with the establishment of an aftercare ministry. Please add us to your prayer list and pray for this ministry daily. You may also support us by mail to the address above or visit on the web and support us in a safe way using your credit card.

AFTERCARE Aftercare is providing the love of Jesus and the acceptance back into society of those who have been behind bars. It involves the desire to share the love of Jesus regardless of a person’s background. When Jesus came, to earth as man He shared the Father’s love to everyone He saw. He did not judge but shared how to make things right with the Father without condemnation and taught how to be forgiven and become a new person. The aftercare program teaches a church and the people of the church to help people recover and learn how to reenter society. The program consists of s weekly support group, a monthly gathering of those that are victorious in their recovery, and a mentor-training program. An aftercare program allows someone who is new to the Lord in their life to continue to feel this relationship with Him when they return to the streets. Aftercare is the love of Jesus continuing to flow as it did when the person made the commitment to let Jesus in their heart and in their lives. Not long ago when churches spent a great deal of time working with the community, it endeavored working with all different types of Ministries. Now churches have fallen back to having the desire again to work with people that are hurting like Jesus did when He came to earth as a man. Does your church want to help others as Christ does or not?

THE AFTERCARE PROGRAM FOR THE CHURCH A church has the opportunity to work with the person behind bars, their loved ones while they are away and the opportunity to show the love of Christ the whole time a person is behind bars and upon their return. Some examples for the church. The church can setup support groups for the families while their loved ones are away. The church can accept the loved ones at church services and events at the local church while their loved ones are away. The church can minister to those returning to society in weekly support groups, help with employment, looking for a stable home setting, the rebuilding of the family relationships. A church can set up a drug and alcohol 12-step support group. Many churches in the United States see growth by reaching the lost. Those that are returning tell others about the Lord and their church family. Does your church want to grow?

THE PROGRAMS Each of the prisons and churches that we work with developing an aftercare progrm need to know what is to be done. The following is a brief outline; A pre release program is put in place consisting of the following.. We select people for the program through a screening process of interviews and tests which take a short one on one time to evaluate if they truly want to change. Pre-Release A weekly meeting for “Coping in Prison” which consists of a program of rebuilding for release and preparing for an organized return to society. A. “Prison to Paycheck” which is a program to prepare for employment and a career. B. Preparing for continued recovery from addiction upon return to the outside. C. Providing, “One on One” mentoring while in prison and upon release. Recovery A faith based twelve step recovery program consisting of a weekly meeting, “homework”, and recovery training. The consistancy continues with the support at aftercare meetings upon release.
